BISIG

Ang BISIG ay bilingual na refereed journal na nagtatampok ng mga artikulo o papel pananaliksik hinggil sa kalagayan ng sektor ng paggawa at mga komunidad sa Pilipinas na taunang inilalabas ng PUP. Pangunahing itinatampok nito ang mga pag-aaral na sumisipat sa mga napapanahong isyu hinggil sa kalagayan ng mga manggagawa, anakpawis at kanilang mga komunidad. Karaniwang nakatuon ang mga paksa sa mga usapin tulad ng unyonismo, globalisasyon, neoliberal na polisiya, kilusang paggawa, karapatan at kalagayan ng anakpawis, relasyon at kalagayan ng mga industriya, at iba pang katulad. Maaaring ang paksa ay tumatawid sa iba pang disiplina tulad ng kasaysayan, politika, ekonomiya, sikolohiya, wika, sining, kultura, kasarian, kababaihan, diaspora, agham, teknolohiya at iba pa tungo sa paglapit na multi/interdisiplinaryo.

Layunin ng Bisig na maipagpatuloy at lalo pang mapaigting ang mga nasimulang adhikain para sa manggagawang intelektuwal at makabayang edukador na si Dr. Nemesio Prudente, sa pamamagitan ng mga pananaliksik na dumadalumat sa mga penomenang may kaugnayan sa paggawa at ugnayang pang-industriya sa Pilipinas.

EDUCATION REVIEW

The Education Review (EdRev) is published once a year in the month of June. It presents articles and researches on education which is aligned with the research thrusts of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines as stated in the University Research Agenda (URA). In the URA, the following topics of interest are the focus of this publication, namely:

  • Education technology/innovation and change;
  • Communication technology; student support services;
  • Professional development and faculty support; quality assurance;
  • Curricular benchmarking;
  • Institutional development;
  • Policy studies;
  • Outcomes-based education;
  • Inquiry-based education;
  • Promoting full, decent and productive employment;
  • Transformative education;
  • Home-school-community service, employment impact;
  • Graduate tracer studies;
  • Culture and values; and
  • Teacher and student achievements

The contents of EdRev include analyses of theories, studies on topics of interest, application of methods and theories, research reports, materials development, policy descriptions and implementations, qualitative and quantitative studies, and reviews.

ENTRADA

Ang ENTRADA ay ang natatanging pampanitikang journal ng Politeknikong Unibersidad ng Pilipinas na inilalathala isang beses sa isang taon. Nagsimulang makapaglathala ang Entrada noong 2014. Naging lunan at tagpuan ang Entrada para sa mga bago at batikang manunulat at mananaliksik upang hamunin ang mga posibilidad ng kaalaman, pagkatha at pagkamalikhain. Bukas ang Entrada Journal sa anumang mga paksain at usapin. Nilalayon at tinatanganan ng bawat isyu ng Entrada Journal ang pagpapasulpot ng mga akda at pananaliksik na may matalas na kamalayang panlipunan kasabay ng makabuluhan at masining na pamamaraan ng pag-aakda. Dumadaan ang mga akdang isinumite sa masusing proseso ng double-blind peer review gayundin sa pagtatasa ng lupon ng mga editor nito na kinabibilangan ng mga respetadong iskolar at manunulat sa loob at labas ng bansa.

PUP JOURNAL OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

The PUP JOURNAL OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (PUPJST) is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original articles on theoretical and applied studies in the field of science and technology. It is an annual research publication that aims to provide an avenue where researchers would be able to present novel, new and trend-setting ideas for the advancement of society in general.

Areas may include any of the following:

  • agricultural sciences
  • life sciences
  • food sciences
  • nutrition and dietetics
  • environmental sciences
  • computing and information sciences
  • mathematics, engineering, and technology

PUPJST is listed in Andrew Gonzalez Philippine Citation Index (AGPCI) and Philippine E-Journals Database.

SOCIAL SCIENCES AND DEVELOPMENT REVIEW

The Social Sciences and Development Review Journal (SSDR) is an open-access, and online journal of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), Research and Publications Office, Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, Planning, and Development, publishing annually peer-reviewed articles on the social sciences and development, preferably those with focus on the Asia-Pacific context. This is indexed by AGPCI until 2024, and CHED-recognized as well under Category B of CHED-Journal Incubation Program (2019). It promotes critical, multidisciplinary, and constructive discourses in the social sciences and their allied disciplines. Articles that aim to synthesize normative disciplines such as religious studies, theology, or philosophy with the social sciences are also accepted.

 

SSDR Journal aims to publish solicited and unsolicited articles from a wide variety of methodological and disciplinary perspectives to serve the interests of a wide range of thoughtful readers, students, and academic scholars of the social sciences and development such as sociologists, anthropologists, historians, economists, psychologists, political scientists, as well as social development and cooperative scholars. It also aims to publish special issues on important and urgent social concerns that affect the local and global society.

THE MABINI REVIEW

The MABINI REVIEW is an interdisciplinary academic journal that publishes original articles, essays, research reports, and book reviews which cut across the following fields: philosophy, literary and cultural studies, humanities, sociology, politics, social history and other related disciplines. The journal seeks to advance scholarly engagement among academics. It promotes insightful exchange of ideas, theories, and practices.

The Mabini Review is published annually by the Research and Publications Office, Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, Planning, and Development, Polytechnic University of the Philippines.  It is indexed under AGPCI until 2024.

MABINI REVIEW is printed, open access, and peer-reviewed journal that employs a systematic review process for all submitted manuscripts.

The goals of the publication are as follows: (1) maintain confidentiality in managing submitted manuscripts; (2) observe timely publication of the journal; (3) pursue unbiased double blind review system; and (4) ensure that editorial decisions are based on originality, relevance, and quality of a manuscript and its contribution to the body of knowledge in the disciplines that the journal seeks to cultivate.
